Ramblings of my soul

About 5 months back, on a cold Saturday afternoon my flight landed in the beautiful city of Richmond. When I had boarded the flight back in my home country, I knew my life was about to change. The only thing that I was unsure about, was how much it would change.

From a workaholic HR professional to a H4 dependent visa home maker - the journey seemed simple enough. Back home I kept contemplating all the wonderful things I could do with the free time I would have on my hands. It took me about a two weeks to get over my jet lag and settle down in my new routine as a home maker. And as I spent the winter afternoons looking out my window at the drifting snow flakes one day I realized that I wasn't content being just a home maker. I needed to add more to my life. I needed something that would keep my mind busy and my soul happy. From there on began my quest for something that could not only make me happy but also add value to my life.

After months of contemplating the idea of starting a blog, today I write this, hoping that someone out there will be in my situation and will find help, solace and a friend through my blogs.
